Competitive Business Strategy Draft

The present thesis focuses on a competitive strategy draft for the purposes of a small business. The thesis is divided into three main parts. The first part comprises theoretical assumptions, by the means of which the current state of the business, under external as well as internal circumstances, is analyzed in the second part. The last part is aimed at setting goals and the strategy aimed at reaching them.

The diploma thesis aims at analyzing Miss Claire Ltd., a distributor of perfumes and cosmetic goods. The situation of external and internal environment is described based on Porter Value Chain, indicators of financial analysis, PESTE and SWOT matrix. GE model and BCG matrix serve as complementary tools. All suggested strategies fulfill SMART criteria as well as strategic goal of Miss Claire Ltd, which is achievement of profitability and stabilization of market position.

The goal of a bachelor thesis is to propose adequate strategies for company FIT&HARMONY,s.r.o. Bachelor thesis is divided into two parts. Theoretical part offers a theoretical base from management, which is being applied in practical part to a particular company. Practical part consists of an external and internal analysis of the company by which we are supposed to conclude the opportunities and threats that the company faces and also the strengths and weaknesses of the company. To analyze the external environment is being used PESTE analysis and the Porter´s five forces model. Internal environment of a company is being analyzed by the Porter´s value chain. Results of the particular analytic tools are being concluded into a SWOT analysis, which is the main input to propose an adequate strategy to improve a position of a particular company on the market.

The main intention of this Bachelorś thesis is to make recommendations for the development of Geprostav, based on the identification and analysis of the internal enviromental factors of a business. The major aim of the literature review is to depict characteristics of the business environment using Porter´s value chain and Weckert´s analysis based on the identification of factors. The review also includes not only a definition of the indicators, but also their formulas to assess the company´s financial position. The purpose of the results section is to present key factors based on the analysis having the greatest impact on business performance. The goal of all measures proposed is to increase the competitiveness of the company.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to propose appropriate recommendations for development of the winery. Based on an analysis of the external and internal en-vironment, opportunities, threats, strengths and weaknesses of the company are identified. The analysis of external environment is analysed by using PESTE anal-ysis and by the Porter´s five forces analysis. For analysing internal environment is used Porter's value chain and financial analysis. In conclusion, appropriate rec-ommendations are proposed from the SWOT matrix. Selected recommendations are evaluated from an economic point of view.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is in using the strategy analysis of the external and internal environment to design strategies that would help improving the develop-ment of the company and the increasing of its competitiveness on the market. The first part of the thesis explains the concepts of strategic management based on professional literature. In the second part of the thesis there is an analysis of the external environment using PESTE analysis and Porter’s five forces model. After this there is enterprise’s internal environment being analysed using Porter’s value chain. The results of these analyses are opportunities, threats, weaknesses and strengths of the company. Only the most significant factors are selected by EFE and IFE matrices. Based on SWOT analysis, singular strategy proposals are developed with recommendations to the Pietro Filipi, s. r. o. company and one of them is economically evaluated.

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to design a strategy that will increase the traffic of Aderanna Fashion shop. This strategy will be created by analyzing the enterprise's internal and external environment. In the literary research, the concepts of strategic management are explained. In the result part, the company is de-scribed, the questionnaire survey is evaluated and the external and internal environment of the company analyzed. Subsequently, the opportunities and threats that affect the store are identified, and its strengths and weaknesses are assessed. These factors are unified in the SWOT matrix, partial strategies are formulated and one final strategy is economically evaluated.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to evaluate the current strategic position of Heaven Labs s.r.o. and suggest a recommendation for its future development, which will be based on specific strategic analysis methods. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. In the theoretical part, the subject of a research will be divided into sections named strategy, process of strategy creation, business model, strategic analysis, macro and micro environment analysis, internal analysis and SWOT analysis. Later in the practical part, the company will be introduced. Afterwards the methods described in the theoretical part will be applied to identify external and internal factors affecting the strategic position of the company. The resulting work will be provided to the company management that will be able to use the findings gained from this work to plan future strategy.

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá strategickým rozvojem konkurenceschopnosti podniku působící v outdoorovém byznysu. Cílem práce je provést celkovou analýzu Recreational Equipment, Inc. V úvodní části bude vymezen teoretický základ strategické analýzy s využitím odborné literatury, který bude aplikován v praktické části na konkrétní podnik. Za použití metod pro analýzu vnějšího a vnitřního prostředí, PEST analýza a Porterova modelu pěti sil, budou zjištěny faktory, které mají vliv na konkurenceschopnost podniku. Tato zjištění vyústí ve SWOT analýzu, ze které vzejdou strategická doporučení pro top management podniku.
